Ahead of National Executive Council meeting of the ruling All Progressives, some acclaimed members of the party from across the country have taken a protest to the national secretariat of APC, demanding that it’s national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, should be sacked.
The protesters claimed that the current national chairman was expected to uphold the party’s constitution but has allegedly worked against it, leading to division in the party, especially in Edo state.
The protest turned violent, as another group clashed with the protesters making security operatives fire teargas at the protesters.
