As many as nineteen travellers are feared dead following a ghastly motor accident along Potisku-Damaturu Road in Yobe State, a report by Saharaeporters has shown.
SaharaReporters learnt that the accident occurred some 50 kilometers from Damaturu, the state capital, around Fune in the Fune Local Government Area.
Spokesperson for the police in the state, Dungus Abdulkarim, confirmed the incident but could not ascertain its cause or number of fatalities.
He said, “I’ve dispatched men to the area, so give me some time, like 30 minutes or one hour to give you proper confirmation.”
