President Muhammadu Buhari is holding a meeting with the apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanézè Ndígbo and other leaders of the Southeast.
The meeting is being held at the New Exco Chambers, Government House Abakaliki.
President-General of Ohanézè George Obiozor is leading other members of the apex socio-cultural group to the meeting.
Governor David Umahi, who is also Chairman of the Southeast Governors Forum, is also at the meeting.
Ohanézè is expected to table critical issues about the region to Buhari.
This includes the release of Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB) leader, Nnamdi Kanu from detention.
Other issues expected to be discussed include the president of the southeast extraction and the security situation in the region.
