Ogun Police Arrest Woman For Trafficking Teenage Girl To Lybia

The operatives of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested a middle-aged woman, Abike Olonade for alleged human trafficking.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the command, Omolola Odutola confirmed the arrest of the suspect to journalists in Abeokuta on Saturday.

According to the PPRO, the suspect was arrested for allegedly trafficking a 16-year-old student of Adeoye Lambo Secondary School in Obada to Lybia.

Odutola in a statement posted on her X platform (formerly Twitter) said, “One Abike Olonade has been arrested for trafficking 16-year-4-old student of Adeoye Lambo Secondary School in Obada Oko Ogun State.

“She confessed that the victim had been trafficked to Libya”.
