Nigeria’s Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has denied a support group called “Think Tank for Osinbajo”.
Recall that on Tuesday, 12th April 2022, a self-acclaimed co-covener of the Osinbajo Support Group Mr Olugbenga Olaoye had mocked Bola Tinubu, national leader of the All Progressives Congress after saying that Nigeria doesn’t need another sick president who will be traveling abroad for medical checkup.
Olaoye spoke while being featured on the Arise TV Morning Show to discuss the topic, “Tinubu and Osinbajo Presidential Bid”.
Osinbajo speaking through his aide, Laolu Akande denied the support group.

On Tuesday, 12th April 2022, a self-acclaimed co-covener of an Osinbajo Support Group named, “Think Tank for Osinbajo” was featured on the Arise TV Morning Show to discuss the topic, “Tinubu and Osinbajo Presidential Bid”.
Mr Olugbenga Olaoye was noted for dropping some controversial comments during the interview which has drawn the ire of some supporters at either camp.
This has led to the Spokesperson of Presidential aspirant, Prof Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) to comment on the matter:
“Indeed this gentleman does not represent the VP nor the Office. His views are completely & totally his own. This particular opinion he has expressed on TV is deplorable and in bad taste. I am not even aware of the so-called Osinbajo Think Tank he purports to represent. Pls IGNORE”
