Police Arrest Six Suspected Cultists, Recovers Arms In Delta

Six suspected cult members have been arrested by men attached to the Delta State Police Command‘s Buffalo Squad.

Bright Edafe, the Command’s spokeswoman who confirmed this in a post shared on Sunday via his X Twitter said a locally cut-to-size gun and two cartridges were discovered during the investigation of the suspects and their vehicle, a black GLK.

The Command wrote: “Operatives attached to the Command’s Buffalo squad while on routine patrol along Ibusa Road intercepted a black GLK conveying six young boys, upon searching the suspects and the vehicle, a locally made cut-to-size gun and two live cartridges were recovered.

“Ordinarily, when people see Police stopping random vehicles for a search, passersby will say Police are harassing innocent youths.

“Our investigation has revealed that they are suspected members of Black Axe confraternity.”
